Lightboxes
can be fabricated in aluminium, mild steel or acrylic. They
generally consist of a metal box with an acrylic face which
allows light to shine through. The image
is fitted to the face of box in translucent vinyl, allowing
light through the various colours.
Alternatively the logo or text can be fret cut from the
front of the box. Acrylic insets are fitted into the fret
cut areas and the
illumination will bleed out the sides and
/ or face of each letter.
Lightboxes can be fitted flush to a backing wall or on brackets
projecting off the wall.
